BANNERS for BUSINESS & INDUSTRY display products are constructed using only the highest quality materials. For out Personnel Department series, we selected only those substrates that best meet our uncompromising requirements for high quality display properties and value. The following materials are used in conjunction with one or more of the banner or signage options available.

SCHERBRITE^TM: A staple indoor/outdoor substrate designed for multiple general purpose applications. ScherBrite is a 5 & 10 oz. PVC coated ultra-white material with Aqueous Clear Coat protection.

SCHERBRITE II^TM: The standard material used in the construction of Personnel Development Banner Series. An indoor/outdoor 12 oz. flexible, white polyester scrim matte, double-side printable, ultra smooth banner fabric designed for high resolution printing. ScherBrite II^TM is a premium banner product ideal for all indoor banner or limited short term outdoor banner display.

WEATHERBRITE^TM: An outdoor 10 oz. flexible white polyester scrim matte single-side printable ultra smooth banner fabric designed for high resolution printing and extended outdoor use.

TACBRITE^TM and TACBRITE plus^TM: Indoor or outdoor sticky back appliqués for use with Coroplast^TM, Gatorplast^TM or Alumalite^TM. TACBRITE^TM is a 2.1 Mil cast gloss white face film w/pressure sensitive adhesive for multiple smooth and limited rough surface applications. TACBRITE plus^TM offers the additional protection of a 2.1 Mil cast gloss over laminate performance application and is recommended for most high wear and all outdoor displays.

SCHERBA DIGITAL makes available a standard assortment of foam board and corrugated core substrates with applied digital graphics to satisfy many of your in-house and outdoor signage display requirements. SCHERBA DIGITAL Signs are available in various sizes and types up to 48" x 96". Please refer to the following descriptions.

GATORPLAST^TM: An extruded polystyrene foam board bonded between two layers of high impact polystyrene sheets. It is lightweight, water resistant and has smooth high impact facing which resists warping and provides a clean uninterrupted surface for all of your high end fit-n-finish requirements. We highly recommend it for all of your in-door close proximity signage needs.

COROPLAST^TM: A trademark name to describe "corrugated plastic", Coroplast^TM is a combination of high quality twinwall plastic profile sheets on a high impact polypropylene copolymer. It is lightweight, weatherproof, stiff, resilient and resistant to UV and chemicals. Coroplast^TM is easy to work with and provides a high durability solution for many of your semi-permanent outdoor and general purpose indoor signage needs.

ALUMALITE^TM: A strong, aluminum composite panel with a high density, corrugated polyallomer (CPA) core that will not swell, wick water, corrode, rot or delaminate even under prolonged water exposure. Alumilite^TM is an ideal substrate for multiple long term outdoor signage need to include all purpose post and panel, hanging, wall/fence mount and many more.

Every SCHERBA DIGITAL banner and sign appliqué is digitally printed on our NUR Fresco^TM Hi Q 8c 1800 continuous drop-on-demand (CDOD) four or eight color process inkjet application printer with an apparent resolution of 720dpi. Many banners, as required for outdoor use and based on the substrate application, incorporate additional print protection via a waterborne Aqueous Clear Coat acrylic urethane application or an AVERY DOL 1000 2.1 Mil cast glass over laminate performance application and clear permanent adhesive.
